Couples & Partner Therapy
You care about each other. That was never really the question.
But lately you keep landing in the same place — the same argument, the same distance, or the same silence.
On the surface, things may look fine. Underneath, there's often hurt, resentment, or a sense that one of you is carrying more of the load than the other. You've probably already tried to talk about it. It just hasn't changed the pattern.
This tends to fit if you…
keep having the same argument in different clothing, feel more like roommates or a logistics team than partners, love each other but can't seem to step out of the cycle you're in, and want a place to work on the relationship itself — not to figure out who's right.
What we'll focus on
In our work, we focus on what happens between you. Who tends to pursue and who pulls back. Where communication breaks down. And how each of you responds when things feel tense or uncertain.
We'll slow the cycle down enough to actually see it — the moment it starts, what each of you is protecting, and the more direct, workable ways you can respond to each other instead.
Not just naming the pattern. Changing what happens the next time it starts.
My role
My role isn't to decide who's right or to take sides. It's to help both of you understand the dynamic you're in, and to make sure each of you feels heard. From there, we find ways of responding to each other that are more honest and less automatic.
What you can expect
Sessions are structured but conversational. We name the cycle, practice different ways of interacting, and make sure any changes fit your real life — not just the therapy room.
Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes and held online via secure video. Because the work is provided by telehealth, both partners need to be physically located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Florida during our sessions.
I'm private pay and can provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement.
